Onsomo.com Reviews – A World Of Crypto Scam

Onsomo.com is making waves on social media with ads claiming Elon Musk’s endorsement and offering a 0.16 BTC reward for signing up.

While the bonus seems tempting, Onsomo.com is actually a scam using Musk’s name to deceive users.

In this review, we’ll reveal how the site tricks people and what to do if you’ve fallen for it.

Overview of Onsomo.com

Onsomo.com appears to be a legitimate cryptocurrency trading platform with a professional design, but it’s actually a scam.

The site lacks information about its team, location, and official registration. Launched on November 10, 2024, it has no ties to any regulatory authority.

The site uses fake ads and edited videos of Elon Musk to falsely claim his endorsement, with poor editing revealing the videos as fake. These are major red flags for any crypto platform.

Here’re My Findings about Onsomo.com Crypto Platform

Fake Account Balances

After joining, users see a large “bonus” in their account, making them feel like they’ve earned a lot, but it’s just a trick.

Withdrawal Fee Scam

To withdraw the bonus, users are asked to pay a “verification fee” of 0.04 BTC (around $1,000). Once paid, users are locked out of their accounts.

No Access After Payment

After paying the fee, users can’t access their accounts, and customer service provides no help. Some are told they need to pay again for the “wrong amount.”

Frustrating Scam Design

The scam is designed to confuse victims and extract as much money as possible before they realize they’ve been tricked.

Fake Elon Musk Endorsement

Onsomo.com uses fake AI images and voice simulations of Elon Musk to create the illusion that he endorses the platform, exploiting his reputation to deceive people, especially newcomers to crypto and online scams.

Consumer’s Complaint

Thieves, scammers. They tell you to deposit .00408, but when you send that exact amount it shows up us .0039 and they say “sorry you sent the wrong amount so we cant activate your account”. Pure 100% scam and con. Using a fake AI of Elon Musk to market the scam site. Luckily I was able to contact my bank and reverse the transaction and also file a complaint with the SEC and FBI

Steps To Take If You’ve Been Scammed

If you’ve tricked by Onsomo.com and suspect it might be a scam, reach out to your bank or credit card company to dispute the charges.

Most banks offer fraud protection services that can assist you in recovering your money.
