The HighPeak Mini Projector promises a theater-like experience at home with portability, versatility, and high-quality visuals. Sounds impressive—but does it live up to the hype or fall short?
Let’s take a closer look.
About HighPeak Mini Projector
The HighPeak Mini Projector is designed to be a small device that can turn walls or ceilings into big screens, displaying images between the sizes of 24 inches and 120 inches with high quality images and detailed illumination.
The website touts it as perfect for home and outdoor use and a better and cheaper option to big screen TVs.
Nonetheless, closer inspection points out to some matters that a buyer should look into more.
Why HighPeak Mini Projector Is a Concern for Us
This product’s features such as being the best on the market, or a true replacement to a TV look more like clichés.
The first problem is illumination of pot light from Multi purpose light. The projector has 600–2,000 lumens, but it is not enough for using in the open air.
Indoor projectors require at least 2,000 to 3,000 lumens a projector and the most outdoor projectors require at least 5,000-7,000 lumens for appropriate projection. This means the HighPeak Mini Projector may not achieve the quality the firm has presented to its customers.
Another issue is its involvement in misleading advertisement which utilises fake images. An image search reveals that majority of images used on their site are picked from other sources. It feels somewhat fraudulent as most reliable companies employ real and quality pictures of the products they are selling.
The reviews on the website also look fake. All of them are extremely positive which is rather unusual for real products.
What I Experienced After My HighPeak Mini Projector Arrived
I certainly do not recommend the purchase of the HighPeak Mini Projector. When I received the particular product I was impressed and discovering it was nothing like what I had in mind I returned the product. It was a two week and several email fight just to get the return address.
Worse still, I came to realize that returning it was going to cost half the price of the item and that if it were not received in china it would not be replaced or refunded.
Finally, feeling upset I took a decision to keep a substandard product. Customer service even scolded me for following up on my request. I did not find the whole online shopping experience very good, in fact it was probably the worst. You should in any way possible stay away from this company!
