Earache.com promotes itself as a haven for music enthusiasts seeking exclusive albums and merchandise, but customer experiences tell a different story, raising serious concerns.
Earache.com Review
Earache.com promotes rare albums, signed vinyl, and band merchandise, but customer complaints about delays, damaged goods, and poor service suggest it might not be the reliable choice it claims to be.
Why Earache.com Is a Questionable Shopping Site
Order Delays
Customers frequently report long delays, with some waiting weeks or months for their orders to arrive, even after paying for faster shipping. Many buyers were left frustrated by useless tracking numbers and a lack of updates.
Damaged Products
Shoppers have received the wrong items, such as standard vinyl instead of signed editions, or damaged goods like torn hoodies. Efforts to resolve these problems through customer service are often ignored, leaving buyers with no solution.
Lack of Customer Support
Many customers complain of being ignored by customer service, even after sending multiple emails or messages. The lack of communication adds to the frustration and makes resolving issues nearly impossible.
Incomplete Refunds
Some buyers who requested refunds received only partial reimbursements, often excluding shipping costs. This practice shows a disregard for customer satisfaction and transparency.
Ethical Concerns
Reports claim the company blocks bands with whom they’ve had disagreements, raising questions about its business practices. This not only hurts the artists but also diminishes customer trust in the platform.
Buyers’ Feedbacks
I got the CD I bought, but it took well over a month to arrive, despite being sent first class. Sent 2 emails asking, heard nothing back – then finally got a dispatch email and got my product. Wouldn’t buy from them again, no matter how cheap and reasonable the price was (£7 for the new Wormrot is excellent value). Needs sorting, at least the customer service aspect – just let people know there’s a delay and it will be a few weeks, not just blanket radio silence or if you genuinely cannot be arsed to run a business properly, don’t bother.
Ross
Ordered the new scarlet rebels signed coloured vinyl and three weeks later received an unsigned standard copy of their 2022 album. They did at least get the artist right. Emailed back as no contact details on order but no reply as yet. Just to add, the version of the album I ordered is now out of stock, so I assume I won’t be getting that.
