Bought Footjoy boots recently and they leak very badly – I can practically wring my socks out but Footjoy did their ‘testing’ and can’t find any leaks. Bought a new pair of waterproof shoes and they leak as well but were sent back and ‘tested’ which a complete joke as they were passed. DON’T BUY FOOTJOY as there is NO GUARANTEE whatsoever with them. I have used Footjoy for years but never again.

Just avoid Footjoy and don’t believe the review sites who are clearly paid to put them at the top. The entire front of the right shoe came away in under 12 months, the studs peeled off and the overall comfort is pretty awful.
Their customer service is rude and unsympathetic, they clearly just don’t give a damn. So just pay attention to these reviews here and go for another brand.

Further to my previous review here is a photo of my returned footjoys that’s apparently had a 30 minute water test
As you can see they are still muddy all over so not sure how this water test works but it doesn’t seem to remove any mud on the shoes!!!
They enclosed a letter and test result stating shoes were ok
